go here... Con-way Drivers Message Board you should be able to get all your questions answered. the owner of the board is an old time friend of mine and if you can't get the info you need off the board let me know and I'll put you in touch with him. He has been with CFI/Con-Way for over 15 years.

I work for the OTR outfit, but I don't generally wade in on "any information" kinds of topics. If you have any specific questions in mind I can probably help you out.

Do they have any terminals in NC? And how good of an area is Hickory/ Charlotte with them?

There's a Con-way Freight terminal in Charlotte, but we don't have any truckload terminals in North Carolina. Some of the Freight terminals let people park their trucks for home time, but it's a case by case thing and the terminal manager makes the call. If you can't park at a terminal, then the truck and trailer have to stay together. In that case, people generally get permission from a local truck stop manager to use the truck stop for home time.
I'm not sure exactly what you mean by how good of an area it is. If you're wondering about how much freight we haul through there, I-40 and I-85 are pretty heavily traveled lanes from what I can tell. As long as you have a place to park, getting you home should be a non-issue.
