SCG The Select Carrier Group rebrands to CEVA Ground | Select Carrier Group SCG The Select Carrier Group rebrands to CEVA Ground HOUSTON, Texas, November 3, 2008 – SCG The Select Carrier Group has been renamed CEVA Ground - a sub-brand of CEVA Logistics based in The Netherlands. This is done in alignment with its parent company to ensure consistency of service delivery with similar service offerings elsewhere globally. The United States entity is one of the first companies to undergo the name change. Clayton Halla, the Chief Operating Officer of CEVA Ground US, has been championing the rebrand efforts and is very energetic about the alignment of synergies between CEVA Logistics and CEVA Ground. "We feel that the new brand better differentiates and defines our services in the marketplace. With the breadth of the combined transportation services offered by the two companies, CEVA Ground will be able to offer end to end supply chain solutions to fit the needs of our growing customer base," stated Halla. CEVA Ground will further expand on the services offered by the former SCG, focusing on driving value in the area of transportation management. The core products under the new brand will be Full and Less than Truckload (FTL and LTL) transportation along with dedicated fleet services, intermodal marketing and full transportation brokerage services. "We've been waiting for this name change, and we are excited to get the ball rolling," stated Halla. The rebranding efforts will extend 60 - 90 days, but any effect to the company's customer base will be minimal. "The transition will be seamless," stated Halla. "Our customers will continue to receive the world class service they are used to receiving from SCG." For more information contact: Paula Satink + 31 23 568 3492 [email protected] CEVA. 'Cause bigger companies buy smaller companies. CEVA bought a smaller logistics company in Jax, name on the building change to CEVA. The bought company was TNT and they had contracts with CSX to fuel locomotives. BOL
