Default Fuel hauling jobs in Dallas/FT Worth area

I am considering a move to the area. I have 3 years fuel exp. I wanted to know info on the fuel hauling jobs in the area. I would think there would be plenty, but which ones are good and also what is the pay like in that area. Thanks.

Exxon is top of the pay scale there, however, there are over a dozen companies that haul fuel.

A few of those are cheap. I'm not going to name them.

Good luck.

Well, I am sure you can find a good local job in Ft Worth.
I'm just not sure if I would want to pull an atomic bomb with all those idiots down there.

I was looking at exxon site and couldnt find any info on drivers at all. Do they haul there own product or have someone else do it and just wrap trailers with exxon decals.

They got their own trucks, and their own terminal in Irving. I have also seen them at other terminals as well.

There are over 30 different companies that haul fuel here in the D/FW area. And their are over 11 different terminals where the fuel can be pick up at as well....at least I was carded at 11 of them, and I didn't have Motiva, and a couple of other that I can't think of.

Good luck.

In order to get an Exxon application, you have to go directly to the terminal. Your going to need at a minimum of 2 years, hauling gasoline, preferably with all of that, hauling Exxon product.

Exxon still has trucks in Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. If I were to return to being a "company" driver, Exxon is where I would go.

It sounds like there should be plenty of work in the area with that many companies and terminals. Thanks for the info.

Is it true that a company driver fuel hauler can make $75-80K a year? Curious because a local company in my area said their drivers were.

Depending on the area, yes. Have I seen anyone bragging about that much here? Not lately...it's around 50-60 K.
