Supposed witness' and village idiots claim the truck was zooming down the highway. I don't see in the video where he was driving too crazy other than when the police were trying to force him away from taking certain off ramps and he would get real close to them and at the 3:40 mark where they started really agitating him, he started swerving around to back them off. Good job for going a ways with 2 steers down on the rims. Had to make that delivery so they couldn't slam his DAC for an abandoned load.

I pull flatbed for western and you would be surprised at the people that get hired and all the problems they have with truck abandonment and theft. We now have to show proof of our cdl number and get a gate pass to get out of every terminal now because a driver or ex driver, not sure which, stole a truck on halloween from our Decatur Alabama yard. There are some good drivers there but there is an abnormal number of drivers like this.

So what's Western's speed restriction, 64 mph company wide like stated above jager? He sure wasn't thinking very much in trying to run. Kinda hard to simply disappear with that large of a vehicle.

We are actually set at 65, close enough to what he said though. Not near fast enough to try and run even if that was a good idea lol. After watching that video, the thing I am most impressed with is how well that truck handled and went down the road on the 2 steer rims. no rubber at all on the front and he was rolling around like nothing was wrong. Very stupid thing to do, I cant understand running at all much less in an 18 wheeler. I cant believe I didnt hear about that one through the driver grapvine over at the terminals.

Default Question about Western Express hiring [ractice?

If this guy had a warrant for a felony in Maryland and trucking companies are suppose to run a criminal background check, how did this guy get hired? Was he an employee of Western Express or did he steal the truck somewhere?
