Default Jobs in Massachusetts

I want to have a driving job in MA.
But most companies's headquarter is in the Midwest or Westcoast.

Not too much job is available here in MA.

I don't have experience. I just graduated from the truck driving shool.
I have CDL A and hazmat.

How can I find a driving job?

I contacted some companies on the phone. They say experience is required.

It should not make much difference where a carrier is based. Companies hire drivers based upon where they live and their freight lanes. They prefer hiring drivers who live near one of their regular freight lanes so that they can get more easily get them home.

That was your biggest problem right there. You should forget that you even own a phone, and walk through the front doors of the trucking company that you want to apply to.

WHY? You ask. Walking into their office, looking clean cut and business like, shows to them that as a "New" driver, you are honestly interested in finding a job. Yes...Telephones are convienient, and they save a person time and energy, but walking into an office, allows a "Manager" to see the individual whom is asking for a job....not just "hear" that individual.

If you do call a company, you ask for directions to their facility. Don't ask if they are hiring. Go introduce yourself, explain your intent, and see what happens.

Yes, and after you get all the info about them, go out in the yard and talk to the drivers. Also this lets you see how they treat their drivers. You'll know when you go into the office and see signs like "no drivers allowed" or "restroom for office personell only" and the dispatch window has a two inch hole to talk thru. Little things that make you feel appreciated!!!! I always go check a company out before going to work for them. I don't want to find out on the second day of orientation that I wasted my time.

I live in the central Massachusetts.Takes 50 minutes to get to Spring field Metro area.

I checked your company's website. I don't have a tanker endorsement. But I hear it is very easy to get it, one of the easiest to pass among endorsements test.
