So your saying all boat and car haulers run illegal? PAleeze....I've ran with a few parking lots in the last 22 years....guess what? I also call :dung: . Drivers willing to run illegal help the brokers keep the rates low for everyone. I run 4 loads a week from Vegas to Northern Az and I still make over 50k a year with weekends off. Just pray that you don't get into even the smallest accident and be illegal, hefty fines await those that are.

this guy reminds me of those IDIOT COAL HAULERS in eastern Ky, when they don't run legal and kill some one they are the first to claim I did not do anything wrong, not my fault. They run illegal and would not know how to run legal. Hell he is better off with some little independent owner.

Sorry, i dont mean to put down ALL car and boat haulers. My log is always updated and is legal at any given time, just so you know. I get rid of fuel receipts and toll receipts every 5 hours.






Back to the subject=They took $530. from me and justified my not giving a 2 weeks notice.
Even if you add the miles and fuel usage from my last stop to the terminal it only comes to like $100. not $500.

Ah, another low wage "rookie".....I guess you just haven't fathomed the fact that multiple log books and so forth are no longer the rule, but the exception in the trucking industry....But, you will think everyone else on this board is wrong and you are the "original all that"...right up until you kill someone and then the real crying will begin...Perhaps you should re-think your "career" moves.

$530. does not equal miles traveled. The big companies are crooks. I could expect a charge but not $530. I DID NOT ABANDON THE TRUCK!

But that's just the thing. You did abandon it. If they charged you, then they consider it an abandonment and are charging you for the "recovery". Even if you left it at a terminal, if it wasn't the one they wanted it at, then they are going to charge you for whatever it takes to get the truck to the terminal they want it at and they are going to hit you with an abandonment.

Right or wrong doesn't matter here...that's what they did, whether you agree with it or not. It has nothing to do with me or with any other large company. It's between you and your company and I've provided the reasons as to why they did it. I'm not sure why this is so difficult to understand or why you feel that it's my fault or any other big companies fault.
