Then you're probably right. I know it can be hard, but try being a little positive - it'll make a difference if you go in filling out an application with a better attitude.
Good Point, Storm!!

Russwasherejr:

"Storm" is absolutely, 110% correct!! Think POSITIVE!!

Start telling yourself: "I'm POSITIVE that I'm screwed"!!

Try Schnider(if you havn't already) and see if they have any openings in the Walmart Grocery fleet in Wintersville,OH. Close to home and they train and re-train. Also, have you tried the numorous flatbed companies in the area? Both big and small.

Schnider,Swift,CR England,Werner

Sorry to say but you are now right back were you started from. Since you have not driven in over a year, most companies will treat you as a new driver that just got their CDL. The four above might give you a chance but you will start out at step one.

my driving record is messed up too i have a suspension, careless driving, and failure to stop at stop sign
then i have an accident in july 05 and july 04

i know you can use a 3 year dmv record on a resume but i liked to get a 7 year print out and watch those overweight tickets drop off evry year. now i got my first speeding ticket in 20 years in my camaro
we had a guy that went off the road into the trees and he said he loved the gig. he got hired back after a couple years of showing up once or twice every week.
maybe in your situation keep bugging the man that fired you
