Schneider is well-known for painting their tractors and trailers Omaha orange-PMS 165 (although their training literature calls it "international safety orange") which, while more expensive, foots to their often stated emphasis on trucking safety. Their orange trucks are known both inside and outside of the company as "pumpkin trucks". The trucks were originally painted Omaha orange and black after being leased to Allied Van Lines early in the history of the company.[7] The company no longer provides any type of household moving or storage services, but kept the colors.
