They used to have three divisions. Regional Van, regional flatbed (mostly steel), and dedicated auto plant stuff. The auto stuff is usually a set run and home daily or every other. Their pay is on the low side. If you have experience I'm sure you can do better unless you just want one of the dedicated runs.

They stink.

My cousin pulled for em' awhile back running a dedicated Chrysler account from the Twinsburg, OH stamping plant to Belvedere IL (near Chicago). Lots of junk equipment, he was pushed to run hot, plus they screwed around with his paycheck. That turned out to be the last straw so he cleaned his truck out and left.

I worked a dedicated auto route for them for a year......nashville to north carolina north carolina to St. Louis back to nashville repeat process twice a week......when thy have the work. Their equipment was trash and they dont think twice about swapping you in and out of trucks. Sounds like an exageration but in a calendar year I was in and out of either 8 or 9 trucks...some were taken and given to other drivers, some were taken in for service and reassigned and some just broke down, all were dirty and most were very used and abused. my paycheck was screwed up at least 2-3 times a month and that made matters at home pretty bad because on top of that my runs were getting cancelled out on a very regular basis, so i was having short weeks on top of screwed paychecks. Their flatbed division is better but they are still on the lowside of pay...over all i would say avoid them. Keep in mind that their business is heavily tied into the auto industry and thats not a good looking place to have your paycheck hanging on right now anyways.

If your in the Youngstown Area I would suggest looking at Watkins and Shepard in Austintown? (actually I think their terminal is closer to Mineral Ridge.)
