Anyone ever work for NTB (Nationwide Truck Brokers) out of Grand Rapids, MI? Recruiter came by our school the other day and it actually sounded pretty good (course, which sales pitch doesn't?). He talked about some good things like a minimum 48 consecutive hours off every week (at home), increased pay for weekend work and benefits after only 30 days. And it also sounded appealing 'cause it's a smaller company. Is this a good company or am I just getting the usual hotair enema?

Until you hear something - I found the following links:

NTB WebSite: http://www.ntbtrk.com/

Company Statistics: http://www.truckflix.com/companies3/...ck-brokers.php

PayScale: http://www.payscale.com/research/US/...rs/Hourly_Rate

Hope this helps...

I finish Baker in June and they are on my list.

From the info I have, they will hire student grads
Must live within 1 hour of a terminal
Must have HazMat

my father in low works for NTB. been there for almost 2 years on the dedicated Target account of of Galesburg Mi.

and its true he get a full 48 off but its actually more like a 58 to 60 off by time its said and done.

hes bringing home about 1100 a week and hes home as often as he wants to be.

dont count on it being the weekends tho. most of the time it is but there are a few times of the year where you will be home on a monday and Tuesday or something like that but like i said with my F.I.L. it doesent happen too often,

they have pretty good benefits and there equipment is decent. it ain't all new shiny trucks but they do keep good maintenance on them.
