Skywalker, thanks much for the info. I'll call over there as soon as I get back to Florida and see if they have anything.

During a meeting when I worked for Transwood, the guy from our safety department was saying how DisTech had a pretty low rating ie DOT would tend to watch them more closely than the average company.
That was back in October or so.

The Distech terminal in Dayton, Oh just closed in May 2009. They laid off all the shop people and a quite a few drivers. They relocated some of the remaining drivers close to Cincinnati and sent a few other drivers up north.

I think I've actually been to that place. Had to get a wash-out after a delivery to Dow. I wound up sleeping there too since I had been up for like 30 hours.

I have seen trucks running around I-75 and was wondering, does anyone know anything about Indian River or Florida Rock and Tank lines?
Search for Indian River on this site. I know there have been several threads on them. Cyanide did a thread "Tanker Pay and Benefits" here which included all the major players in the tanker industry.

BTW, you are going to need more experience, IMHO.
