Default Star Transport of Morton, Il. just Curious ?

Is anyone familar with Star Transport of Morton,Il.I have a neighbor in my town that works for this Co. they run new Petes with Cat power & 13's run there trucks at 65 mph & haul cat parts into E. Peoria & Morton,Il & Pactiv commodities out of NY. state & Texas. I asked him what his spin was & he said that they were good. but he had quite them for a month because of his dispatcher was a *%#@ ! but he was headed back all in the same sentence. Any comments :roll: :idea: :?:

only thing i like about star transport is that they haul cat parts. my grandpa drove caterpillar dozers for 27 years and he loved to operate them

Default Star Transport of Morton, Il. just Curious ?

I wonder if U would have anything else to offer? experienced driver pay? pay for orientation? I was told it's 4 days etc: etc: how far west do they run. I've seen there trucks in Iowa. guy in my town said there running & bringing Pete 387's on? are there trailers air-ride & condition of? :wink: :idea:

they do go to texas but i dont think they go any farther than that

Star pretty much runs east of I35.

if you are looking in morton and have over a year exp. try risinger bros. so far i've been very happy with them. stars pay is very low.

Hey Uh, all Ya I did' nt think they ran too much west of I-35 and I thought they paid about as cheaply as they get someone for. they have Schools who recruit for them upon completion of training. they run right through my town with there Morton salt loads out of Silver Spings, NY. So that was my interest. I'm just shopping at this point. Ya I've seen there trucks in Texas also.Thx. 8)
