Default Jacobson transport dollar general account

I was wondering if anyone on here had any info on this company and the Dollar General account. I've been offered a job with this company running the Dollar General out of Ardmore,OK. I know that you have too unload off the back but can you really make the money they say?

I heard that you can make very good money..
You do unload from the back of the trailers in the Dollar General parking lots. It's not too hard, from what I've been told. I see several Jacobson drivers that drive that dedicated run for Dollar General. They seem to make good money, and are happy.

I can't speak for Jacobson, as I have never worked for them. But, I did pull DG for Werner when I was with them. I never had a problem making 900 to a grand a week. The only reason I quit that run was due to a bad back. The money is there but you WILL earn it. The way it worked with us was we backed up to the store in front or usually around back and they set these rollers from inside the store to the inside of the trailer. You put the boxes on the rollers and slid them down to them in the store. All the freight then as floor stacked and 100% fingerprinted. Now I think they are using some sort of car and a lift gate but don't hold me too that. Most of the stores I went to it was a pain to say the least to get into. LOTS of TIGHT spaces that was not meant for a van much less a T/T. Hope this helps.
