There not. You work for a chain warehouse. One customer. AFI/PFG in Elizabeth is home daily, two to a truck(driver and lumper) multistop(different customers). PFG also has line haul out of some of thier warehouses. Warehouse to warehouse no touch loads.
You will either like foodservice or hate it. I been doing it five years and like it, but then again I'm crazy :P . Give it time and see what happens. Driving teams like you do takes time to get use to. I do the same but for a different company, one customer(Papa John's) two drivers in a truck, three routes a week going to VA(just west of DC), Baltimore, and south of Columbus,OH(we service all of OH, All of Western PA(as far east as Bloomsburg, PA), most of MD,Va,Parts of WV and all of MI), longest for me being 19.75/hrs. Money and benifits are excellent but you do work for them, especially being the neww guy, the longer you are there, the easier it gets.
