No kidding. Been there, done that, won't do it again.
Used to be a really good company when the old man ran it. Now his kid has had it for years and keeps turning it into a bigger and bigger pile of crap. Only company I ever worked for that I was was totally lied to from recruiting on.

Their truck broke down, no fault of mine, I was let go due to "Driver making unauthorized repairs and or adjustments to company property" I mean hell, the truck was at a Freightliner dealer for 12 days and they had trouble figuring out the problem, and was then told "bypass the thing and send the truck out" Real genius at work on that one !

I was fired from Buske for being sick. Dispatcher knew I was sick for 3 days before going home. Sent in QC messages every day keeping them informed. Called in every other day also for same reason. Also faxed in a doctor's letter that had me on bed rest for at least 5 days.
The official reason I was fired. Failure to keep dispatch informed of my status. Then to top it all off they tried to nail me for truck abandonment. I was informed I was terminated on a Thursday. I told them fine I would bring truck to terminal either Friday afternoon after my doctor's appointment or Saturday morning depending if I was released to drive. 7:30 am on Friday they showed up to claim the truck.

Oh yeah. While I was working there they also tried to charge me for damage done to the front bumper. I told them that damage was already there when the truck was assigned and was called a liar for it.
