What's the scoop on CRST................I can't remember seeing anything good or bad about them here.
Everyone has to start somewhere. At least they allow dogs.

Dirtbag outfit. I've never heard one good thing about them. The only positive I've heard(if you can call it that) is they will hire people who have just about any felony conviction. They run mostly teams. I would stay away unless they are a last resort.

i had a close friend that drove for them for several years. They were a husband/wife team, no felonies etc. They had a great run with them, every time we talked they had nothing but good things to say about them.
The reason they quit running for them, my friend got a brain tumor and passed away just under two years ago. By the way, they were L/O, when he passed, the truck sat in their front yard for over a month, while the wife figures out her life. She decided to turn the truck back in. CRST never put anything negative on her DAC and were nothing but supportive to the family. Understand, this is just one story, maybe not typical as the saying goes, but they did treat her very well... BOL

They have a 2.91 rating. I talked to them last year and got into it with the recruiter. He kept pushing team and I kept telling him NO. I've checked out/applied at the following, but have not comitted to anyone. 1. CRST 2. Prime 3. PAM 4. CFI 5. Schnieder...........who called to interview me,but I was busy with my boss.Haven't heard back from Pride has a color and when I called back they put me on ignore.I guess they have plenty of applicants.

PAM is another bottom dweller. You can't go wrong with CFI or Schneider. Both offer good training programs. The only knock I hear about Prime is the lease drivers get the good loads.

Thanks Greg......I forgot Swift.......Their Dallas (Lancaster) terminal is right around the corner from where I work now.
I could chunk a rock and nail a driver from my office.
