Accepted a new position
#1
I accepted a driving position today and it is not Airgas. They pay is not great but it seems an awesome place to start.
Home every night and off weekends. $16/hr. overtime after 40 hours. A lot of meet and turn. Load/unload with a forklift every once in a while. Medical (PPO) or HSA. 401K w/ company match. 2 weeks paid vacation/1 week sick time/1 personal holiday. All major holidays paid time off. Overtime if I want it. 40 hours/week guaranteed. Raise after 90 days and every year after that. They haul 48 and 53's. Freightliner daycabs. 10 speeds. A couple of box trucks and a van. Laid back atmosphere and respect for the drivers. This is what I've been looking for. I start Monday.
