You may know this by now, but you are not allowed to fudge your log in anyway with Crete. There are some things you can do to shave a few minutes here or there, but Crete demands 100% compliant logs.
It can be a pain at times, but it's for everyones good.
The important thing is that you can run 100% legal and still get great miles and plenty of rest.

Hey Evertrucker,
I for one would like to thank you for your time & effort in this thread. Information is power. It's usually hard to come by & almost always a fee is charged to acquire it. What you've provided here for me - free of charge - has helped immensely in my attempt to understand the industry.
You & others have helped teach me how to maximize my time & effort. You've pointed out how important time management becomes as the week goes by - and lots more information as well.
Your thread is probably the best I've found & I've spent months reading them ALL.
Please continue & don't let anyone discourage you. I applaud your efforts & admire your willingness to share your skills - that's a very rare quality in today's world. Thank you again.

You are correct, I have been with them for a little over 1 1/2 years.

Ditto! This happens to be one of the very few threads worth reading on CAD!

evertruckerr, about the time you finish your restart in Gary IN I'll be headed for the Phoenix terminal to start my training. Thanks again for your informative thread. I've learned quite a lot from your posts, especially how to work within the system to maximize your run-time and minimize down-time. It's an interesting game that just might help keep my sanity while I'm out for weeks (or should that be four weeks?) at a time.
I am curious to see how my trainer deals with the same system and compare it to your style. It should prove an interesting study.

OK, I have cleaned up this thread and reopened it. It's Friday and I was feeling generous and besides, the original poster did not participate in the karate fight.
But don't think I'll make a habit of this! :P Never forget that I am the all powerful site admin on a power trip and you are all mine to step on as I please!! 8)
Still, you guys have to understand that cleaning up a thread and removing something like 45+ posts is very time consuming. I like the phpBB2 formats for moderating, except for extended thread cleaning like this. This board is decidedly unfriendly when one needs to do that, so most times we will simply lock an out-of-control thread down and forget about it.
So, in the future, if you've got someone trolling for problems, please do not add to it. It's easier for someone to alert us so that we can simply pop in, delete a couple of posts and make a warning, rather than have 3 or 4 people all bickering and fighting back and forth. When that happens, pretty soon there's a bunch of pages of CB talk and it's a pain in the derrier to sanitize.
So, the thread has been reopened for business.
