I was only there 5 months, got tired of waiting for load, waiting at shipper, waiting at consinee, waiting, waiting for miles, always was told NO FREIGHT,don't see how anyone makes it there unless you become one of the elite, they get the loads, miles, and good runs,of course when you start you'll get the good stuff for 2 or 3 months then you'll sit in trucks stops and try to live on 1000 to 1400 milea a week and the worse trip planners and dispatchers I've ever worked with in my life. Thats the way it went for me,it might be different with you, good luck to you, but, good luck won't pay bills will it?

Is that $850 gross or take home? If its take home good luck finding a company that will consistently pay higher than that. If its gross he can do better.

850 is take home but this company has a little bonus ..The company he was with b/4 he earned around 900 take home and once a month a bonus + pay came out to be 1,500.00 ..But they had hell getting him to Ky and Ma. and the company lost a lot of the drop and hook they used to have a ton of Gen Pack the customer base went to praticly hauling garbage (litterly) picking up scrap paper in garbage sites etc... ..just crap loads ..so he moved on after ..i think close to 3 yrs.

Well, like I said, good luck trying to find a company that is going to give you better pay than that. Possibly Crete, if you don't mind staying out for at least 3 weeks at a time. They can certainly get you home to those two states. Esp. Ky.

I am on regional now but when i was running OTR at Barr Nunn(still there) I was taking home 850 a week consistently and often more, i took home 1000 plus several weeks, But i agree with Karnaj, averaging $850 a week TAKE HOME is pretty good and you can do better than that in a few places but it will be hard to beat. But i did do that really regularly at Barr Nunn. As far as the poster above that had all the issues, it just seems to follow some people around at barr Nunn, I have real good luck with them, very rarely spend anytime waiting for unload and load and always get reasonable miles and get home when i need and i am definitely not in the so called circle of Elite drivers there, I quit for 3 months and gave up what seniority i had, came back and am still doing good just like before. Every driver is not going to do good at every company and that sucks, I guess i have just been one of the lucky ones there. Of the 3 companies i have been with, thois is by far the easiest to work for and my time with them drasticly improved my financial situation, but thats just my experience there.
