Default Knight Trans Step Test Question

Does anybody know anyone that has failed this test? I'm a fat dude but I'm pretty sure I can pass the test. My only concern is that my heart rate might get a bit high. Is there a failure for high heart rate and what is the rate cutoff?

Any answers are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have no idea what the failure rate/cut off might be.

When I took it I weighed in at 250 lbs and was a 3 pack a day smoker and passed.

I weigh 300 and smoke a pack a day and take blood pressure medicine. I'm just really out of shape and know that 3 minute step deal will get me winded. I can't even figure out why they even give that test as it would seem to be all about unloading a trailer which I won't do anyway.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think you may have answered your own question w/o even realising it:

Not only is it a cardio test it is also a test on the muscles and joints needed to climb in and out of the truck repeatedly.

Most truckers I talk to look like death warmed over...its a tragically unhealthy profession.

Companies usually insist on their doctors so as to not loose drivers.

I was so tired once I stopped the truck and basically stepped out into the night darkness and went SPLAT onto the parking lot.

was so fatigued and relaxed i didnt break nothing or even get a scratch.

Coyote---

So it was quite a workout but I assume you passed ok? Are you out of shape or take blood pressure meds? How was the heart rate test?

Thanks..
