Thanks Brad M....... Yes .. the training is really compleat, it covers everything W/S expects out of you. I can't see where going out with a trainer would hurt though. But not for weeks, maybe just one. I might be able to answer that question better in a couple weeks :?
As far as doing it over again, yes i'd go with W/S over any other school.
While in my thirty day class I got to see three groups of ten day students come through. Some could drive and some couldn't .
The second day af school at W/S your driving down the Hwy, and your driving every day. In the morning your driving and in the class room in the afternoon. All i can say is there is a whole lot more to truck driving than I ever thought.

Your right about that part.

Gordon,

Have you received a letter from TAB explaining the reason that you were turned down. Normally when credit is applied for and a lender turns you down it is their obligation to send you a letter. The way that credit has tightened in the last few months lenders are very careful.
Not yet but I am sure I will get one.

But anyway I pulled a report from the same agency the day before because I have 24/7 access to all my reports because I am a subscriber and pay 12.95 per month for it.

The report was not all that bad. Showed 4 O' Shits the past year and over 400 payments on time the past 3 yrs.

Tightening I guess.

Arkie
If they use a beacon score where 700-800 is excellent credit and then you drop into the 600 range that is where the problem is.
I seriously doubt many people trying to get into trucking as a OTR company driver making 29 cents a mile have a credit score between 700 - 800.

Not every driver is a bum.

Some were in top management.

Some have advanced education/training.

I agree with you , a percentage of drivers are MENSANS.
I never stated that drivers are bums.

Also, there is a good chance that with a 780 credit score you really didnt need to get financed for the watkins shepard school. Am I right ??

Again most people that need to get financed for driving school
probably dont have a credit score over 700.
Then again I could be wrong.
