Most companies I know of have an age floor below which they won't allow kids to be ridealongs. Others only allow it when school is not in session. I gotta wonder why anyone would want a child in an industrial environment. Too dangerous. BOL

extenuating circumstances at home make it necessary. honestly if there was any way to do it different we would. but there isn't so, any help would be greatly appreciated. the only company i found so far is one we have never heard of and we're hesitant about joining up with them without knowing more.

At Hunt Transportation you can have a child 1-5 years of age on the truck with you, but the mother or other parent, would have to be on the truck as well. Once the child is 6 and above they can ride without the mother on the truck.
Hunt also has a immediate family rider policy. Meaning your spouse, children, grand children, or step children are the only ones that can ride along. So if you have a child by someone that isnt married to you under the age of 6, and you would like them to ride along with you they would not be able to ride due to the mother or father not being immediate family.

* Spouse, which includes "common law" spouse where permitted by law or * One child, stepchild, foster-child or grandchild 4 years of age or younger, provided they are accompanied by the non-driving spouse or * One child, foster-child, stepchild or grandchild 5 through 18 years of age, with or without the non-driving spouse.

The only company that I know of with no age limit or occupancy limit is Prime, and that is if you are an O/O or fleece purchase driver.
