Default Western Express

Anybody know anything about these folks. The recruiter claims 3k miles per week, great benefits, the usual. Looking for some driver information. Thanks.

3000 a week! Good luck. They are one of the lowest paying companies that I have seen. I hear they have good equipment though.

I can only say that most of the drivers I talk to for them, are looking to change company's.

It's that way with nearly every driver I talk to regardless of who they drive for at the moment. Something definitely is wrong with the industry when the turnover rate is 120-130%.

That turnover rate has a lot to do with hiring people who had no business taking the job in the first place. For people with experience who actually know what the job involves, like tken for example, it's an entirely different story.

FWIW, and this is strictly truckstop chatter that is worth very little, I have yet to run into a happy Western Express driver.

Default Western Express

I would be one of their former drivers who didn't have a clue what I was getting into. They were my 1st trucking job. We were told in orintation that we would spend 4 to 6 weeks with a trainer then........, NOT SO. Day 3 we began running 'team', as most folks on here already know in that truck only one of the two driver's was capable of 'running teams' & it surely wasn't me.
I left with hurt feelings, felt I had been lied too, taken to the cleaners, etc., etc. Yes, I am getting ready to dust off my bottom and climb right back on a horse of a different color.......... & this time I am way more prepared than I was when Western sweet talked me.
