My husband drove for them for 10 months. It was a nightmare. They have very rude and degrading dispatchers, and fleet managers. You are a number period. He did fianlly get a good FM, but the guy was outnumbered by all the bad ones and he tried. CJ really liked the guy. But dispatch would override him all the time. And even if you are a truckload driver, not ltl, you will still run ltl alot. And almost every load that he had the whole time he was there, was late, by one or 2 days being picked up, and they would call the receiver and say oh he is broke down and will be way late, but not inform him of the lies they told them and he looked like an idiot when he would get there. They will push you hard, to go and go and go, and forget trying to sleep, they will bug you all night. Or at least they did him. And lots of interchanges, lots.
They sent him in to canada, his first time there, and no instructions on how to get out, and when he called in to the comapny(this was on the weekend), no one and I mean no one could tell him anything. So he spent a few hours trying to make sure all paperwork was as the border and such and figured it all out on his own. Just kinda had him hanging.
Payroll is screwy too, took weeks most times to get paid on his trips.
Sorry so long, just wanted to tell you what his experience was. It may not be this way for you or other but it was for him.
And if you do go with them, stay away from Shelly Woods, she is a nightmare, and will make you want to kill her with the way that she will treat you. No joke, she will demean you and scream at you, and make you feel like you are such a dumb a..
