Hello All,

I hope all is well, i am new the forum. I have some general questions about working as a relief driver for PepsiCo. Maybe you can answer them here or if you can PM me please. They have invited me to go for an interview. I am not worried about the interview but worried about the dot physical and dot road test.

So what do they make you do for the dot physical? I am not too worried about the physical but curious to what they make you do for the physical exam to pass?

As for the dot road test what do they make you do on the road test? What kind of route is it? Are the equipment that they use is automatic? Do a lot of people fail the road test for them? is it actually dot that test you or is actually the person from PepsiCo? Any information would be great! This will be my first CDL job and honestly i really want to work for them, not just because i need a job but i have done unloading freight in the past and this type of work appeals to me. I want to thank you for all your feedback and advice.

All I know is, they like to do random tests for coke.

Great joke haha but when coke and pepsi train is this before they give you the dot test or do they just give you the dot test?

The road test will be done by a Pepsi employee, the physical will include eye test, hearing, check pulse and pressure, stuff like that. Since your going to be unloading the truck I'd expect that you'll also have to do some exercise and then get your pulse and pressure taken again. Almost forgot! You'll also have to take a whiz quiz, hope your clean!

I'd never pass because I guess coke can stay in your system for like a month or more, if you are a chronic user.

Hey thank you for your feedback. I am clean and will pass with flying colors. I do not do anything that is illegal so i am golden. Thank you for clarifying if that it was done by dot or an employee. It puts my mind at ease that it is not as crazy as i thought it was. I thought it was done by another dot guy.
