Don't Know if you made any decisions about the company your going to run with, but I sure in the heck wouldn't go with J.B. Otr with them i was only getting about 1800 miles weekly. ran more of a regional route than any long haul. Would set two days or more between loads.

i know nothing of knight so I cant say anything there.

Good luck

try looking at KOCH TRUCKING.......I just started, and all seems well..... But then, I just started!
Schneider, I think would be better than JB, every JB driver I talked to, complained of to much time sitting in truck stops...bol

You might want to try Roehl because, i think, they hire students and newer drivers:

I will let you know what they say.

I did check the new century site and they want 2 years exp. Hope Western will consider my 6 months.
Western Distribution wants 2 years exp. , they don't pay well on the cpm , but they do run hard , long trips to make up for it . Not to mention some of the best equipment .

1) Yes, please refer to the "who you drive for and why" thread. You will notice that i don't post between the hours of say 10pm to 9am which is when i usually am "on duty." You'll also notice that i didn't post all weekend until now because i worked all this weekend which is something that i, have reluctantly, begun to accept as "the way it's going to be." At least for a while.

2) We are talking about Western Freightways not western distribution. Although i would like to hear more about them as well.

Y?

Actually, we should start a new thread because we are actually taking away from rcmix's original inquiry.
