I've never met a happy fleece purchase driver. But some of those guys did it to themselves

I have worked here at J.B. Hunt for nearly 18 years and have done almost every job imaginable.
One of the things I see a lot of is good drivers, like you, who get lured away by promises of more money, better home time, and faster trucks. Often, these promises never fully materialize. The result is that many good drivers, like you, are left at the bottom of the pay scale, hopping from one company to another,   The good news is that we have openings in the OTR and Regional fleets in your area. Sincerely, one of 3 promises would not be so bad.we are in big trouble when jb does not have any openings in our area.better hurry up and call!!!

I got bored today while waiting in line to get some fuel....so I did call. Lets say the guy who wrote the letter is named Keith. I called for Keith, and Scott answered the phone. I asked for Keith, and Scott stated that Keith wasn't in today...maybe I should call back tomorrow. I told him that this was the only call I'm making. And ask him about the letter. After telling him who I was, he looked me up on his list, and told me that he just taken the board over that I was on. Then he asked if I wanted to come back to work. What are you offering? Well, you could go OTR at .37-.38 per mile. Do I get a guarantee set of miles? No. Is that all you have to offer? No. We got some regional work, too. OK, tell me about it. I can't, but let me get ahold of a recruiter. So he get the recruiter on the line same as him, and they offer the PPG account @ .36/mile, out 11, home 3. Then they offer the Centerpoint Walmart account @ .34/mile, out 14, home 3. I lost interest after that. Anyways I thought that this would be some fun to post, and if your looking, they say JB got a couple of regional.....
