hello everyone i was just wondering if anyone here has had any experiance hauling hot tar i have been doing this since september and must say as of right now i do not see myself doing anything other than tanker

 

I haul caustic, acid, bleach, tanker is the ticket no doubt. Would not even consider doing anything else. :wink:

 

I haul hard carbon pitch from koppers in cicero Ill to Alcoa in Evansville Indiana. Easy job, dont get dirty like our coal tar haulers do running local loads back and forth from the steel mills but, i guess you make it as dirty or as clean as you want. I've seen some of the company trucks where guys literally had tar up on the ceiling, on the seats and walls. Pretty nasty for guys that spend 50% of there life in that rig. I love tanks but sometimes just get fed up with koppers.
