Knight SUCKS dude!
I work harder here than anywhere else in my 12 year career and make far less than I ever have before! Will have to do for now till I get on with Yellow freight. Been here almost a year out of Katy term but dispatched out of dallas term. With all there different terms thru out the USA they ( the other terms ) hold freight for there drivers ( cut throat bastards ) so there drivers get the miles while I get the red headed step child attitude! If you want to sit like you have never before then come on down and sign up and stave like some of the rest of us. If you worked out of Phoenix, Reno, Salt lake things might be different as there drivers always seem to stay running but oh my GOD dont get into there area or you my friend will sit for days while there drivers come in drop and hook and leave while you sit because they say freight is slow! BS man thats how there system works! Iam sure more remarks to come!

I wonder what in the world is going on with that Katy terminal. 90% of the complaints about Knight come out of there.
I used to run out of KC, everywhere but the Northeast and never had problems getting miles or any other type of pay I was due. Sounds like to me you all have a bunch of lazy people working in the offices down in TX.

just like everwhere you get a bad dispatcher and life sucks.
allot of the guys I hear complaining about not getting miles or loads also sit and talk about the loads they turn down. if you turn down allot of loads you woun't be offered allot. I agree that soem guys hold out loads, keep you ear to the ground and pay attention and you will star knowing what regular customers are in the areas and who to contact about loads the might have 'forgotten about'. Also if another dispatcher in another terminal asks you to do him a quick favor, keep track of it and call it in when you need a good load, they can appear. learn the game make the money, don't like the dispatcher ask for a new one.

I've met alot of drivers who were happy witht the 4 on/4 off. most of them would average 2400 miles with the majority of them drop and hook. Course this was out of SLC, and we're the cream of the crop
. At least that's what everyone says now that Aaron knight is TM.

There is more to life than belly aching. When I was in El Paso Tx the other day del. a load there were two El Paso drivers both on that system 4 on 4 off that said they were staving to death like I stated before slow freight, no freight and sorry ass dispatchers in other terminals cut throating them out of loads! Happy now? :P Back on topic  |
