Default PTL - Paschll Truck lines

Anyone know anything about these guys? I am trying to put in as many pre hire apps as possible but I don't want to waste my time on a crapy company. I couldn't fine them in the company profiles here. Anything you know would be helpful.

Thanks

They do have a company profile here, I am soon to be a recent trucking school graduate and have been prehired by PTL, they seem to be a good company, but I am torn between PTL and Arnold Transportation

I don't have any firsthand knowledge about them, but a guy that I was in CDL class with went with them straight outta school. I just talked to him last week to get some info for another potential driver on this board.

The update, he still likes them, however the freight has slowed a little in the past couple of months. Seems to be the general rule in trucking for this time of year. He's been getting 2200-2500 miles per week, which would be good for a lot of companies, but he is used to getting 2700-3000 or so. He says that they are OK, probably in line with most companies out there. There are some things that he doesn't like about them, but it is minor things. He likes to run and they keep him running for the most part so all is good.

A few things he has told me about them, they try to avoid the Rockies if at all possible. They will make runs across the south into California, but they don't run to the Northwest much. They are largely an automatic fleet and are going to that pretty much 100%. They have great equipment. He is running a brand new Columbia. He has told me that their bennies are a little expensive. I can't remember exactly what the amount was, but I believe the family plan was over 100 bucks per week.

One thing that I didn't care for too much about them. My friend became a driver trainer once he had been with them about 6 months. IMO, that's a little early to be training since you barely have your own feet wet...

The do have a website, but the last I looked at it, it wasn't very informative.

Good luck.

Can't answer for PTL, but can answer for Arnold Transportation. Any questions give me a pm.

And no, I'm not a recruiter.
