Default waiting for Crete to call any info??

Filled out an app. yesterday I'm waiting for Crete to call me back.
Questions:
Do they have any 700 mile dedicated runs out of Phoenix?
Do they have orientation if so how long?
Are they a driver friendly company?
Do they give you a new truck or at least a clean smokeless truck?
Do they pay for Idle air?
Do they dispatch through cell phones or Qualcom?
Can they keep you rolling without layovers?
How long do you have to work for them before they will let you train?
How much does a trainer make?
I know that's a lot of questions, but any input would be appreciated.

I'm really not sure, call recruiting.

Yes, usually two days in Lincoln, NE

IMHO, Very

Yes, they do their best to get you in a truck you're comfortable with.

No the don't pay for it, because they use Opti-idle on their trucks.

They dispatch over Qualcomm.

They do their best to keep drivers moving better than Arrow Trucking or Marten Transport did me and they're much better at letting you t-call loads so you can keep moving.

I'm not sure about the training questions, call recruiting and ask them.

Hope that helps and good luck!

Trainers, I believe, make an extra $150 per week. They also get paid for all miles, but that is not that big of a deal at Crete.. Most trainers I have talked to don't rack up many more miles with a trainee than when they are alone. Crete refuses to treat trainer/trainee like a team. I believe you have to be with them 6 months b4 they will consider you for a training position.
