I have been working with Driver Solutions, it has been a very positive experience thus far!

I will driving for USA Truck upon completion of the CDL training in Indiana.

Thanks to all you drivers out there that help make this site possible and informative!

I will keep posted my experiences with this.

So you're on your way to Indy to hang out with the C1 training people? BOL to you. I went through the same program. Definately a CDL mill, but probably not the worst in the world. You'll learn enough to get your license, but your real training will begin when you go out with a trainer after graduation.

One tip I'll give you, if C1 still uses that shack of a hotel off the 465, lock your car doors at all times. I got my stereo jacked when I was there. Come to think of it, my car was locked, they punched the key medallion with a dent puller and swiped my stereo. So much for protecting yourself at the "ghetto hilton" lol

I know, I know....

Thanks Desert for the heads up.

Couple of nice things as to why I picked them.
I can drive to and from training.
There is a terminal right down the road from me here in Ohio
More time off (we will see)

And even though they have an amount of bad things it was really no more or no less than most other CDL mills.

It was easy on the out of pocket as well, seeing that Driver Solutions pays out $200.00

I will do my time, pay my dues and when the time is right, if it comes to that, I will pull the trigger on a regional here in Ohio, problem is they all want one year of verified OTR experience, so.........
