Default getting grants for trucker school

I have read somewhere that the unemployment office in Indiana has a program that will help pay for school. Does someone know the name of this program. Does it really exist?

You might qualify under JTPA or the WIA (workforce ivestment act). You state may also have other programs available. Your best source of information would be an employment counselor at the state employment office.

Default WIA

Yes it exists, and supercedes JTPA. Accessed thru a state one-stop (unemployment/welfare) office. BOL

How long is the entire WIA process? I have an orientation date for WIA on Feb 7.

Call your nearest Teamster's Union hall.
Some of them have a training program partnership, with the big LTL carriers. Yellow, Roadway, ABF, and USF Holland.
Good luck
