Also, how do you log 10.93 hours? That would be 11 since you are past the .75 mark.

If you're referring to the fact that there's no way you could drive that realistically, you're right, it is "funny trucker math". It's an absolute theoretical maximum. On the flip side, the absolute theoretical maximum at a full 11 hours @ 64 mph would be 704 miles. That's just using mathematics which assumes no variables. In the real word there are too many variables (acceleration from a stop, traffic, hills, quick pee breaks, etc.) and if you were to log 700 or 704 miles and show 11 hours, you know they'd be looking at you for logbook falsification.

im not saying it cant be done but this is a company truck needs fuel most have to pee on some regular basis this is also a 64 mile an hour truck
how many times have you driven 700 miles with out going into a metropolitan area or surrounding one.
hey ive been using funny trucker math for years always worked for me
but dont pretend like its really possible in a knight company truck.

Don't know anything about this, but in Southern Calif. Knight advertises this 4 on, 4 off deal all the time. Seems to be mostly people hauling containers out of the ports to Phoenix and points north.

A company in NC does a 4 on 4 off deal. It is team from NC to Calif and back. Most all drop and hook. Some of the teams make it in 3 1/2 days.

You slip seat trucks. When yours is back, out you go. They also give you the option of taking as much time off as you want if you ask ahead of time.

I think the pay is .34 split two ways. I also think there is extra pay for things you do besides drive.

A couple of friends of mine went to work there a few months ago and seem to really like it.

It's not a lot of money per mile, but he claims that with all the other things he gets paid for his smallest check was over 1100.00 gross a trip. Most checks he claims are over 1200.00

I haven't seen a check, so I don't know if that is right or not.

Still, 1100.00 + for 3 1/2 to 4 days work is not bad, if it really works out to that.
