Safeway United is a special commodites ONLY carrier agent of United Van Lines. Unlike the other companies listed, your husband will have to WORK. He can expect to perform (and be paid decently for)

-waiting 2 days outside of a Tradeshow
-inside deliveries of large items with dollies/carts (some require him to hire labor to help- company paid)
-pad wrap
-securing cargo (more than strapping it down- decking and such)

According to their webpage, co drivers make 45+cpm and o/o's avg $1.36 for all miles.

Barely. I wouldn't have hauled it if there wasn't a payoff involved.

It was a 350 mile deadhead to Brooklyn to load some office cubicles, going to Denver. 1790 miles plus the deadhead.

As far as what it paid..............no comment.
