Default Christian Based Trucking Companies?

Can any one direct me to a trucking company in the US that are Christian Based? I have a Christian friend with his CDL in dire need of a job and is willing to move anywhere to work with a good company.

There are plenty of trucking companies that CLAIM to be Christian based (ie. Covenant Transport), however, their practices are far from it.

Why exactly does your friend need to work for a company that claims to be "Christian"? I have seen this topic brought up before, and I can't make the connection.

There are Christians and those that live, and work, by Christian values. IMO, find a trucking company that has integrity and values their employees even if they are Buddhists!

Word. I went through orientation with McElroy, mostly because they were reputed to be a Christian company. They do have a Chapel at their Cuba, AL terminal, but that's about as close as they get. I only stayed with them for three weeks, before returning to the company that I had been with previously.

I'm just guessing here, but your best bet might be with a mom and pop type operation like an o/o with a few trucks. That way you may be more assured the "entire" operation is legit in a "christian" way. These bigger companies, the big dog(s) may be christian but how do you know about the other few hundred ot thousand employees

Have him check out these companies. Both claim to be Christian based companies. Both require experience.

NTB Trucking-Lansing, MI

Tradewinds-Arcadia, IN

Frank, I have to tell you....it would be best if your fiend concentrated on finding a good company to work for...like CFI, that has "integrity" and has an excellent track record with drivers...and spend a little less time putting the emphasis on working for a company that is "Christian based". Truthfully in this industry, from my viewpoint, a "Christian based" company is more of an "oxymoron" than a reality.
