Which part of Cleveland? I might know a spot here and there. You probably wont find security guards and fences but maybe a parking lot in a decent neighborhood. If you have regular freight in the area maybe one of your shippers/recievers.

There's Bob's Big Boy on the corner of Brookpark and W130th. There's also a vacant service center on the west side of 130th just north of Snow Rd. I haven't used these but I always see trucks parked overnite. You'll have to check with the manager/property owner. There's a Walmart at Rt 8 and 82 in Macedonia that I've parked at. There's a Pilot on Brecksville Rd (Rt 21) at the turnpike across from the Yellow terminal. There's a Motel 6 in North Ridgeville at the Lorain Rd exit off 480 or exit 152 off the turnpike. You can park in back for $5 a nite and leave your car in front which is visible from the street. I know a TMC driver parks there on weekends. You can use one of these to start with and keep your eyes open for something closer. There around but you have to ask and keep watching. As you can probably tell I live on the west side (near Elyria) but there's places all over. I know of some others out this way but that's probably too far for you. The Motel 6 isnt bad because its right off 480 and theres a big gravel lot there with plenty of room.

A good spot is the Kmart on 12501 Rockside Road in Garfield Heights. I've noticed a few guys leaving their rigs there over the weekend. It's a good spot, too - big, lit-up lot, lots of traffic on that road so nobody will mess with your truck. Plus it's easy access to all the freeways. You might want to stop in and talk with the manager and see what's cookin'.

No, I don't hang my hat in Cleveland. I grew up there and still make a trip up every other weekend to visit with family and friends. It's a good town and I might move back someday as a dollar goes alot farther up there than in many other parts of the country. Plus it's got a surprisingly good nightlife if you know your way around the club scene. Yep, still miss the Flats on a Saturday night. Or catching a game at the Jake then boogey on down to John Q's for a 5-star steak-dinner with all the fixins. Makes the Petro NY strip look like a rubber biscuit LOL. Then maybe roll into Diamond's for a nice floor-show.

Katmandoo came from that ole' Bob Seger tune I happened to be listening to when I registered. Don't like showing my true home-turf as you never know who's reading these boards. I've heard of a couple guys getting sand-bagged at work from stuff they posted on a messageboard.
