Does anyone have any experience with Central Oregon Truck Company? They are a flatbed outfit out of Oregon.
I'm returing to driving after being off the road for a number of years. I'm looking at this company for a few reasons. 1) I live a half a day drive away from their main office. 2) I live right on 1-5, and they run mostly west regional, so they "say" they can get me home most weekends. 3) Their pay/bennie package looks pretty decent, without all the "if this, if that" of some of the larger companies. 4) I pulled dry vans and reefers in the past, and I never want to see another grocery warehouse! So I want to make the leap to flatbedding. More reasons, but I'll spare you ![]() SO any news on this company? Thanks all!

PM Rokk if you want details. He's good about getting back to ya. He had positives and negatives to say. Basicaly the negitives were that they have a tendancy to give you lots of miles, encouraging you to be creative with your logbook. The other was that they make you chain up in bad weather, they don't believe in stopping often. But what else is new. On the other hand, he said you get plenty of miles, the pay is good, and overall it was a positive experience. A good little trucking company he called it. |
