While I do not know of any companies that do this anymore I do know a few people from other countries who have immigrated to the USA and became truck drivers.
Each one of course had to be a legal immigrant, each one had to have the legal right to work in the USA, and they all had to attend truck driving school here in the States regardless of any commercial driving experience they may have had in their home country.

I'm an expat from Britain (Scotland). Just as Uturn said - had to be here legally, etc. Been driving for almost 2 years and now drive in the southeast region - home every weekend. Biggest problem for me was learning not to sink that clutch in the truck when changing gears (17yrs of manual transmissions will do that I guess). I also had a hanguva sore right arm from learning to change gears on that side. Cheers.
