I was doing a 34 reset in Denver one time and was sitting in the TA next to an O/O from Schneider doing the same thing.

We got to talking and I have never spoken with a driver so upbeat and happy at his job as he is. Not one bad word about Schneider either.

Was driving a red Western Star.

So why are the O/O's so much happier than the company drivers?

Is there that big of a pay and miles difference??

Default just need

I just want to know if its a good company to get expierence i want to at least stay till im supposed to.......(all this being if they accept me i doubt they will i have a felony convicton of burglary in 96 and plus my work history isnt that grand all i can get is temp jobs and such best job i had i was a foreman for utility pole technologies. I had to quit because i was never home but at that time i didnt have custady of my kid now i do)
My goal is to get expierence and then find a local company that does either in state runs or surrounding states i live in indiana. I jsut wish my stupid teenage past wouldnt follow me. I made some really bad chocies in my life im 29 years old still living wiht parents and have nothing to show for it. I jsut want a chance to improve my life and to be able to give my daughter anything she needs. I dont mind the not being home for awhile as long as im building somthing for my daughter for she can have a chance in life. Can anyone help me? If you have the same thing about what iom talking about please show me how you did it. If you dont want to tell me public leave me a personal messege on here. Thank you.

Oh on the Schneider application it has people to prove your qork history but not Family. I have no one.

Best thing you can do is put in an application.....the felony conviction probably isnt a problem if its over 10 years old.....i was just looking at some companies and most say that felony conviction must be 7 years, a few said 10..so that shouldnt be the problem...... 2nd...only thing would be your work history....i know schneider is pretty strict on work history(turned down my 21 yr old bro) but look for a company that does their own training, I.E...... schneider, midwest coast transport, swift, they do it all FREE!!! but you have to stay with them a year, and a year is will give you the experience you need to find a local job cuz most require AT LEAST a year. Good luck..ill be watching your posts

Umm... you know how you say "no" to drugs? (at least I hope you do... ) Well do the same with schneider and just say"no", go with another company.

I'm looking for a company that trains in-house too. Why not Schneider?
