After spending 1 year on disability and now over a year trying to get back into the local route work force it has become apperent that I am right back to sqare 1.

I have a CDL w Doubles, Trips, Tanks, & Haz. 4 year local Exp. 3 mo. OTR. AND A SPOTLESS 10 year driving record. But I have not worked in 2 yrs now.
I do have a 15 yr old misdameanor and a 1 yr old misdameanor.

JUST WANT TO GET BACK TO WORK MAN!!

Maybe sign up for a "refresher course" which some of the larger training companies will accept. Other than that, I think your recent stint on disability would scare off a lot of carriers. If I were in charge of hiring, I might be afraid that you’d work for me for a few trips and then get hurt again and make my worker’s comp premiums skyrocket. I know that sucks and it’s also unfair, but I also think it’s one more obstacle you are going to have to overcome. I do wish you nothing but the best of luck though.
