Question Getting my butt back in a seat?

After six years of both OTR & local driving I left this line of work two years ago and helped my brother startup his own company. Now that he is basically self reliant I am no longer needed so I want to get back to driving. I even have a freshly renewed Class A CDL along with a really good driving record.
Needless to say, I am finding it difficult to get hired on (even here in SoCal) because of my 24 months of 'gap' in my driver's history. If I need to start over with a 'trainer' and/or be out for a month at a time with a co-driver then so be it. I would just like to get my but back in the seat again.

Can anyone help me out here?

Default Same Boat I Am In

Quit driving over the road January 2007. CDL A and physical still good through December 2009. Don't know which companies would hire me. Prepared to go out with trainer for refresher. Would like to find a company that can team me up with someone to drive as a team. Good luck to you pal, I hope someone who knows can advise us as to which companies would be interested in us.
