Wonder if anyone has an idea of who might hire a 4 month OTR driver that lives in southern Fl, looking for 5on 2off. I ve been looking for something even remotely close to that with no luck at all. Straight local is a joke and B trucks like dumps pay mostly 10.00 per hour. I don't mind being out but want to get home 2 days a week. Guess I may be being picky but just want to see if anyone knows something I don't.

 

you might talk to LCT(Lester Coggins), i tried OTR with them and left just cause i left a local job making 600 a week, and prefer being home every night and on weekends. They haul a ton of flowers out of miami and might be able to do something for you. If you don't mind multi stop loads, and driver unload with the flowers, which isn't real hard, it might just be the job for you. I don't know if they can get you home 2 days a week, but you never know if you don't ask. Hopefully this might help a little bit.
