I baked a concord grape pie a few years back out of grapes picked directly from the vines in my yard. It was a whole lot of work and extremely tasty, but I haven't had the gumption to bake another one.

I once had a piece of apple pie at a truckstop in Quebec. Problem was, there was NO cinnamon in the pie!!! What kind of an ignoramous makes apple pie without cinnamon!!! ops:

And what is the deal about "shoo fly pie"??? It is pecan pie without the pecans!!! :P What kind of an ignoramous makes pecan pie without the pecans!!! ops: ops: ops:

Actually, I don't bake much anymore...my wife does that and does a phenomenal job. Pies are her speciality and there is really no comparison. She did a Black Forest Cake for me the other day. Mmmm.... :P There are always goodies in my house.

We've got a good set-up. I cook, she bakes, life is good.
