These days, I am pulling a reefer. In the past, I pulled loads that you still don't have on there. The load gets a steerable "dolly" under the back end, and a kingpin attached to the other. They do that with some tanks, pre-constructed overhead walkways, bridge beams, and I've even seen boats done that way.

I did flatbed for a month and it was too stressful. The company I worked for specialized in hauling well equipment and I hated hauling pipes. That was nerve-racking sh*t! I hated it when the load shifted and I had to pull off and tighten the straps. Once I was at a drill site and I was tightning my straps and one broke while I was ratcheting it and here I am, a 6 ft tall, 370 pound guy flying backwards about 8 ft and landing hard on my back.

I put the answer for my husband since he is in the flatbed division at Maverick Transportation. Personally, my car is incapable of pulling anything since the bumper on it does not seem capable of having a trailer hitch attached to it.
