I was about to ask you what kind of freaky deaky language you were writing with, and then I saw your location, so you get a free pass (and a bit of jealousy).

NZ is a great place. I went to Prom with a foreign exchange student from NZ. She was friggin hot. I miss her. She taught me the proper way to say New Zealand. More like "NuhZehland". If I were to live in a foreign country, it would either be New Zealand or Albania. But I'd only live in Albania for the women. I'd live in New Zealand for the country. And the women. :wink:

Sorry for the hijack. Carry on.

Yeah the land of the long white cloud or the land of the wrong white crowd is a great place if it weren't for the politicians............
She taught you proper speak....as long as that's all she taught ya LOL.
Never been to Albania but Austrian (not Australian) woman sure aren't hard to look at.....
Spent a little time in your fine country for a previous employer and loved driving our rental there.
Ultimately would like to drive OTR or maybe O/O if the opportunity came up.
We had a driver trainer type rooster here from Chevron San Ramone, I had to take out for a shift for an observation. He commented that if I had a work permit he'd be happy to take me on, so when the dollar goes the right way I may just take him up.

Anyway Rev feel free to hijack when ever it suits ya Big Fella

Sparkie=Electrician :lol:

I worked with a group of British blokes for a couple of years. I always loved that particular moniker. :lol:

If I could figure out how to do it, I'd hardwire the headlights to turn on when I'm in a forward gear. That way the tail lights, etc., would last longer.

Bottom line: I want to make sure I'm doing everything I can think of so that other drivers can see me heading their way.
go to walmart, they have a thing that you plug in the fuse box and it turns just the headlights on whenever the key is on, it costs about 10 bucks. all you do is locate a fuse that is hot when the lights are on and plug it onto that fuse.

Default Daytime Running Lights

Ten years ago I had a guy turn left in front of my car with his pickup. Classic "he looked right at me but did not see me" wreck resulted. I had my right leg straightlegged and my right foot kinda blew apart. Had to have it fused.

Since then I run with my headlights on no matter what I drive. Before DRL's became popular some people would holler hay your lights are on or blink their lights... well, they noticed me, didn't they?

I also have daytime running lights, it's against the law to disconnect them. I remember getting hell from a few of the DOT down south...UNTIL they realize I be a Canuck...then they left me alone!

I have DRL's, so they are bright enough to use even at night.
