for me it is because my camper is too big to be pulled by a 1/2 ton truck and i would hate to have to sell it

I used to have a Ford 250 with a 390(I think) and it had plenty of pulling power.

I picked up my new 06 GMC 3500 duramax this afternoon. I think I'm in love it is so much nicer than my 1996 Chevy. gos like an ape. can not wait to pull the camper to see how much better it really is.

believe me I won't go off road with a brand new $33k truck.
the most off road I will take it is in the back yard to get the camper
