What a mess Les Miles has going on now. I have never been a fan of Jefferson, he reminds me so much of Pryor in many ways. There goes their chances against Oregon, they had a small chance of knocking them off, forget about it sweetheart. Glad to hear Miles has benched them, next step would be to kick those involved off the team. Apparently there is video of the attack by the players AND they broke team curfew by sneaking back out after they had been locked in for the night.
Season hasn't even started yet and some teams are already out of the running after being placed high in the rankings due to injuries or suspensions.

I hope Oregon beats the crap out of em, however.......Les Miles has that "dumb" luck that he always seems to stumble on to for games like this. I have never liked Miles. I guess it comes from his time here when he was at O-State and he seemed to be the only coach with them that could figure out how to beat us. issedoff: I'm a sore loser when it comes to O-State.:bigangry:

Me too!
I wouldn't be shocked if O beats LSU 65-10. Has LSU played anyone that runs an offensive play every 10 seconds?
I feel sorry for the victim. I don't feel sorry for Jefferson, and the others. If their dumb enough to get out after their curfew, and do all that, they deserve not to play.
Les Miles might be eating more grass, when Lee has to take the reigns

LSU played Auburn last year, the same team that wore down Oregon.
LSU was actually in that game against Auburn. Auburn ran roughshod on them in the same amount of offensive plays as LSU had. LSU seems to always have a good D that has bailed Les Miles out a whole lot with his stagnant offense's. They may be able to hang in there against Oregon but can they do it for the whole game, doing just enough or will they be like Tennessee was in the 2nd half? Flat wore out and getting blown out.

LSU is starting to make some believer's. Last night wasn't pretty but their D is leading the way for them while the O is doing just enough to give the D a break. They held MSU to less than 200 yards of total offense and caused 2 turnovers. I was surprised that their O actually moved the ball down the field on several drives that resulted in points. If the O can start moving the ball AND get TD's instead of FG's they may have something for Bama. It seems that whomever wins the SEC West is in the Title game as long as they don't have a loss. Even if they have 1 loss, they should still be in the driver's seat, the West is friggin loaded this year.

From the way it sounded on radio, it was a hard fought battle. Sounded like Miss St D wore down in the 4th. They had 8-9 men in the box all night. That will burn some steam on your D.

And that's the bad news for upcoming LSU opponents. MSU was loading up and they were still running the ball real well along with Lee doing a fine job managing the game and scoring points. They got into a dogfight and came out looking good, they are showing they are a complete team. They not only ran with Oregon, they smoked them, they got into a dogfight that resembled a Big Ten slugfest and won out. Les Miles is a gosh dang sly fox, this team could be the best kept secret ever. Here we were saying they were done after losing Jefferson and yet they are now looking like a #1 team.
