I just watched the highlights again, on ESPN. The only pick that Romo had was mishap by T.O. That ball hit him right in the numbers.

Yep, Romo played pretty much a perfect game on his part. If not for that pick, his rating would have been 154ish.

Cowboys played an excellent game all the way around. They had that one mistake on offense by T.O. bobbling the catch. The D gave up that one long scoring run, but otherwise shut down the running game.

The only two things I can take issue with is that they didn't adapt quick enough to a new QB when Favre went out and they played too conservatively in the 2nd half and let the Packers stay in it. If not for Owens bobble and 2 coaching miscues, that could have been a 51-27 game.

When the Cowboys went for it on 4th and 1 that first time, they should have gone for the FG instead to keep the momentum. When they got inside the 5 and ran 3 straight times up the middle to set up a FG, they should have punched it in to seal the game.

But they won and did so convincingly. They've got a good shot at taking a 15-1 record into the playoffs.

KGB would have been in Romeo's face all night long.
That would have been a neat trick, since no one else has been able to do that this year. KGB is just another very good lineman who would have had a frustrating night. Dallas has one of the best O-lines out there and they are all healthy. It's just about as difficult to get to Romo as it is to Tom Brady this year and Romo is one of the best QB's today at avoiding a sack when they D does get through the line.

And yeah, they won convincingly...I'm mystified how you can say they did not. :? Packer fan or not, you simply cannot logically deny it.

But, since you're still rattling on about it, I propose we make another bet. While I will certainly enjoy that Red Lobster dinner, courtesy of your wallet, here's my followup bet. It's two fold.

Point #1 kicks in if the Cowboys and Packers meet in the playoffs. If the Cowboys win that rematch, you have to put "The Dallas Cowboys are better than the Green Bay Packers" in your sig line and leave it there until pre-season games start in August of next year. If the Packers win it, I'll put "The Green Bay Packers are better than the Dallas Cowboys" in my sig line until pre-season starts next year.

Point #2: If the Cowboys make the Super Bowl this year, you have to add the Dallas Cowboys logo to your sig line for the same time frame as point #1. If the Packers make it to the Super Bowl, I'll do the same with their logo in my sig line.

So, seeing as you will not accept that your current position on the Cowboys/Packers game is illogical, that is my proposal. Do we have an accord?

If not The Pack, I'd like to see the Cowboys and Patriots in the Super Bowl. Now how'd that be for a matchup!

Ya know, Midnight. I don't think the Patriots will make the Super Bowl this year...I'm certainly hoping they don't. My guess, especially after the Eagles game, is that the Patriots will get up-ended in the playoffs. I don't think the Colts can do it...they are so battered and injured, they might as well just IR the whole team. Manning is going to have to start throwing to the cheerleaders to complete any passes. But I'm thinking the Jags can do it. They've been a dark horse all year and are beginning to emerge is a very good team on both sides of the ball. I think they could beat them.

But in the NFC? They only 2 teams that stand out are the Packers and the Cowboys. And round #1 went decidely to the Cowboys.

So, Yoop....the bet is still out there? Are you confident enough in your Pack to take me up on it?
