It's the way most fantsay drafts work 1-10,10-1,1-10 and so on it's actually best to pick in the middle instead of the ends.

because the draft is pretty top heavy,and when you don't get your second pick until 20th most game changing players are gone by then,personally I think you can get 2 better players on average at 5 and 15 than you can at 1 and 20,maybe not but it is what it is.

In my league, I went 5, 16, 24, 36, etc. etc. I like the middle, to be honest. But I also agree that serpentine draft picking is the fairest way to do a draft, live or online. Getting that #1 pick is great, if you want to Get L.T. But then you're waiting until #20 to get the next pick. On the flip side, if you get pick #10, you also get #11. So it's a good way to balance things out in the end.

The only time that 1-10, 1-10, 1-10, etc. is fair is if you are in a keeper league and your pick order is based on last year's league record...ie. biggest loser picks first, next-to-cellar picks 2nd, etc. and so on.

The only other fair way to do things is a completely random order for each round, as long as the whole league agrees to it.
